Welcome to Vassell Builds, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our handyman services (“Services”). By scheduling, hiring, or using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Scope of Services
Vassell Builds, LLC provides handyman services, including but not limited to home repairs, installations, maintenance, and renovations. A detailed description of the agreed-upon Services will be provided in a written estimate or contract before work begins. Any additional work must be agreed upon in writing and may be subject to additional charges.
2. Estimates and Pricing
2.1 Estimates: All estimates are based on the information provided by the client and are subject to change if unforeseen issues arise during the performance of the Services.
2.2 Pricing: Pricing is determined by the scope of work, materials, labor, and any applicable taxes. A deposit may be required to secure a project.
2.3 Payment Terms: Payments are due as specified in the estimate or invoice. We accept Cash, Checks, Zelle, Venmo. Late payments may incur a fee of $35 after two days past due and additional $25 every five days.
3. Client Responsibilities
3.1 Access: The client must provide Vassell Builds, LLC with access to the property and necessary utilities (electricity, water, etc.) to perform the Services.
3.2 Permits: The client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 Property Condition: The client must ensure the work area is free from hazards and obstructions. Vassell Builds, LLC is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions.
4. Changes to Scope of Work
Any changes to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing. Additional costs arising from changes will be billed accordingly.
5. Cancellation Policy
Clients may cancel or reschedule Services by providing at least [insert notice period, e.g., 48 hours] notice. Cancellations without adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee.
6. Warranty
6.1 Workmanship Warranty: Vassell Builds, LLC provides a 1-year warranty on workmanship. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, or acts of nature.
6.2 Manufacturer Warranties: Any warranties on materials or products provided by manufacturers will be honored according to their terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Missouri law, Vassell Builds, LLC is not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from the performance of Services. Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific Service.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Vassell Builds, LLC complies with Missouri State privacy laws. Any personal information collected will be used solely for the purposes of providing Services and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law. For more information, please review our Privacy Policy.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate Services if the client violates these Terms or fails to make required payments. Any unpaid balances will remain due and payable.
10. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through informal negotiation. If unresolved, the dispute will be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the [insert arbitration body, e.g., American Arbitration Association].
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to Terms
Vassell Builds, LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
